Ile Saint Louis, on the banks of the Seine A dream pied-à-terre in Paris.
This fabulous apartment is located in a private mansion bought by Helena Rubinstein in 1937, during one of her frequent visits to France’s capital. The building is listed. An exhilarating challenge for Gérard Faivre : “Respect the spirit of the apartment and conserve its beautiful adornments, whilst boldly renovating interior spaces to create spacious rooms that emphasize easy everyday living”.
Saint-Germain-des-Pres, a duplex overlooking a courtyard. The aim was to transform an old pottery workshop into a luxurious pied-à-terre in Saint-Germain-des-Près. Gerard Faivre’s ingenious ideas have transformed what was a narrow artist’s loft into a light-filled and spacious luxury pied-à-terre, 65m² of which are bathed in light under a glass roof.
