A journey of passion
Gérard Faivre studied to be an architect, but unexpectedly had to take over the family-run clothing business. He then bought a little place in paradise in St Rémy de Provence in 1998. The area greatly inspired him and he found himself absorbed in a new venture, a blend between design and way of life. And so the “prêt-a-vivre” house was born.
It all began when Gérard Faivre bought a neglected old Provencal Mas. His first site, his first challenge, a first emotion which awoke his compulsive desire to create. Since then, Gérard Faivre has moved on and become a master in transformations. His concept is unique, as is each and every one of his spectacular property restorations.
Architect, interior designer and real estate agent rolled into one, Gérard Faivre doesn’t hesitate to create against the grain of conventional building codes.
Internationally renowned for his architectural talents in Provence, Gérard Faivre has taken his new “art-de-vivre” to the Paris property market. A new urban design reflecting the rich colours of Provence.

“My approach is totally unique. I create a world which pleases me personally. In contrast to my fellow designers, I do not work directly for a client and therefore do not have to compromise my ideas to the requirements and preferences of a family. I offer a finished product, finished in all aspects and in the smallest details, ready for turnkey occupancy. It is a global vision, a “signature” - Mine that I put up for sale. The decision to buy is generally a very quick one. “You will either love it with no limits, passionately, or not at all.”
